New-look Hotshots Club to recognise success

THE beloved Bowls International Hot Shots Club, famous throughout the bowls playing world, has undergone an image overhaul for 2019.

Launched more than 20 years ago to reward players achieving a maximum score on one end of a competitive pairs, triples or fours match, the world’s biggest and most exclusive bowls club remains as popular as ever.

The much-valued certificates that recognise the feat are signed by 15 times world champion Tony Allcock MBE and take pride of place in the clubs and homes of bowlers all over the globe.

Silver enamel lapel badges and various coloured bowls stickers are also available to highlight the achievement and for the first time this summer, bowlers achieving three Hotshots in the same year can apply for a coveted gold badge.

Certificates are free and all Hotshots applicants are featured both in the magazine and on the website.

Teams are also encouraged to send in pictures, that will be published.

Bowls International’s designated Hotshots co-ordinator, Ceris Hewlings, can be contacted on 07511835029 or by emailing hotshots@bowlsinternational.com

To apply, fill in a form from the magazine or go to www.bowlsinternational.comand click on ‘Hotshots’.

Postage is set at £2.20 for all items.
