Bowls England name team for test match versus Australia

The Test Match will take place on Sunday 1st July (PM) and all day on Monday 2nd July at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa, CV31 3PT.

Men:
Andrew Knapper (Berkshire); Ian Lesley (Devon); Steve Mitchinson (Essex); Mark Read (Cornwall) and Jamie Walker (Northamptonshire)

Women:
Stef Branfield (Somerset); Annalisa Dunham (Lincolnshire); Rebecca Field (Norfolk); Amy Gowshall (Lincolnshire) and Imogen Jenner (Kent)

Reserves (to be notified if required to attend):
Matt Marchant (Hampshire) and Lorraine Kuhler (Sussex)

Team Managers:
John Bell (Cumbria) and Gail Gilkes (Oxfordshire)

The Test Match will be in a ‘top club’ format which will offer the ability for both countries to interchange all players from discipline to discipline and into varying positions.

The Australian Jackaroos team includes 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medallists Kelsey Cottrell, Rebecca Van Asch and Aaron Wilson, while also having a firm eye on blooding the next batch of possible Commonwealth Games competitors.

Further details regarding the start times of each session will be circulated in due course.

A Development Test Match will take place all day on Saturday 30th June at Whitnash Sports and Social Club, Heathcote Road, Whitnash, Warwickshire, CV31 2NF.
