Bowls England White Rose to become single rink comp

The format of the Menโ€™s Inter-County Junior Two Fours Competition, the White Rose Trophy, is to change from 2019.

Following a review of the current format by Bowls England in consultation with key stakeholders including County Associations at the Counties Meeting in November 2017, the event will become a single rink competition, with each County Association having the ability to enter a maximum of two teams.

To be eligible to play in the White Rose Trophy, bowlers shall be members of clubs affiliated to their County Association and have not attained their 25th birthday by 1st April in the year of the competition.

County Associations have been contacted by Bowls England to advise of their intention to enter in 2019.

Bowls England will confirm the dates for 2019 once a response has been received from all County Associations.
