British Isles Bowls Council event cancellations

The British Isles Bowls Council (BIBC) have announced that the BIBC Championships and Junior Internationals for 2020 have been cancelled due to the current ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. 

All venues for the cancelled 2020 events will be upheld with the BIBC Championships and Senior International Series still being hosted at Llandrindod Wells, Wales on Thursday 1st – Sunday 4th July 2021. The Junior Internationals will still be held at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th September 2021. Scotland will be hoping to win the U25 Series for a record breaking fourth time in a row on home soil next year. 

The Para Bowls Home Nations which was due to be held at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr in 2020 has also unfortunately been cancelled. This event will re-commence in 2021 with Scotland still hosting the series on Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th September as they look to re-gain the trophy that England won in 2019.

All BIWBC events have already been cancelled for 2020 with the Women’s Junior Internationals still being held at Llandrindod Wells, Wales in 2021 and the Senior Internationals will also remain at Royal Leamington Spa, England. Dates for both of these events are still to be confirmed.
