England Strike Gold at Under 18s Series

England under 18s retained the team trophy for the fourth successive year!

England B, consisting of B J Byles, Connor Cinato, Sarah Gove and Lloyd Sabatini won the pairs and fours, and were finialists in the singles and triples disciplines, which was enough to claim the crown.

Scotland’s young gun Greg McLoughlin came from one set down to win on the tie-break in the singles over Ryan Atkins.

Byles and Cinato defeated Scotland’s Mike Paterson and Jason Banks in straight sets in the pairs final, and teamed up with Gove and Sabatini to beat Scotland once again in the fours.

Ireland won the triples final on a tie-break, as Jamie Brown, Jamie Watson and Stephen Coleman overcame Gove, Sabatini and Atkins.
