England win women’s senior international series

England successfully defended their crown when the 2018 women’s senior international series took place at Belmont Bowling Club in Belfast from Sunday to Tuesday.
The strong team won all four of their matches against Wales, Ireland, Scotland and Jersey, amassing a large shot difference along the way.
The series followed the British Isles Championships, which were won by:
SINGLES- Dee Hoggan, Scotland
PAIRS- Sue Alexander & Ellen Falkner, England
TRIPLES- Chris Mitchell, Julie Jones, Alison Fail, England
FOURS- Rhian Jones, Melanie Thomas, Carolyn James, Anwen Butten, Wales
SENIOR FOURS- Jane Mayo, Sheila McGinnigle, Lorraine Bowman, Christine Grimes, Jersey
