Player registrations open for Ultimate Bowls Championship

The Ultimate Bowls™ Championship is the most lucrative bowls event in the world, with a record prize pool of $500,000, as well as a broadcast package that allows our great game to be showcased through 22 countries around the world.

Players can now register for the $500,000 Ultimate Week in December (11th to 16th) that will be held at the Moama Bowling Club in New South Wales, Australia. There will be three UBC events held in this Ultimate week of bowls.

Player Registrations will be open for a limited time so make sure you get your registration in now! The UBC Draft night will be held in September – date TBC.

Once you are registered with the UBC, your name will be placed on the player list for the draft night. If selected in a team or drawn out in one of the Wildcard teams you will receive the following:

  • Flight allowance of up to $250 AUD per event
  • Accommodation provided at the events
  • Players’ share of prizemoney – minimum of 10%
  • Meals (lunch & dinner) provided at all events
  • Team uniforms provided
  • Use of UBC pool sets of bowls (blue & orange)
  • Real-time individual and team performance statistics
  • An opportunity to play this exciting format on TV!
  • and best of all…the chance to have fun while competing with and against some of the best in the world!

The UBC is a pairs event; however, all teams consist of three players who rotate during each event.

The format of the Ultimate Bowls™ Championship has been strategically designed to appeal to both the bowls enthusiasts, and to people who enjoy watching sport at its best in a fast-paced, exciting manner. We see a winner of every match after just 25 minutes, which has spectators both at the venue, and watching on TV at home, on the edge of their seats.

One of the UBC’s most exciting features is its dynamic and innovative scoring system. Players have the opportunity to score points with every bowl that is played. A ‘toucher’ earns their team 3 points, as does holding the shot when the leads have finished their bowls.

Both teams have the opportunity to earn points on the same end; 10 points for the closest bowl, 5 points for the second-closest and 3 points for the third-closest.

This truly is an amazing opportunity and no matter what your skill level is, you have a chance to play in the UBC!
