Potters to host World Indoor Championships for next three years

A new three year deal has been agreed between the World Bowls Tour and Potters to keep the World Indoor Bowls Championships at the Norfolk Resort.
This will continue an association that celebrated 20 years in 2018 and cements Potters Resortโ€™s reputation as the home of bowls.
John Potter, managing director of Potters Resort, said: โ€œAs the largest provider of indoor bowls holidays in the world, we are of course delighted to host the world event and confirm our place as the home of bowls.

The Just World Indoor Bowls Championships sees bowls players from around the world compete in Potters 1,100 seat International Arena to win a coveted trophy and prize money, with more than 20,000 spectators attending over the duration of the Championships. The Just 2019 World Indoor Bowls Championships return to Potters for 17 days between 11th and 27th January 2019, with a range of short breaks and day tickets available.

BBC Sport will continue their long standing partnership with the World Indoor Championships โ€“ a
relationship that celebrates 39 years this year.
A new three year deal has been agreed to cover the World Indoor Championships from 2019 to 2021 between the World Bowls Tour and BBC Sport.
Madison said, โ€œThis is very important for our sport and I am highly pleased that BBC Sport have continued with their support for this blue riband event. The
new deal will help our sport to continue to develop over the coming years.โ€
