Welsh stalwart John Price defeated England star Jamie Chestney in the opening round of the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines WBT singles championship at Potters Lesiure Resort.

Price won on straight sets, 8-4, 9-3 and will now face Ireland’s Clifford Craig after he despatched Scotland’s Darren Burnett earlier in the day.
