Robert Weale beat Les Gillett in straight sets, whilst Paul Foster edges out Billy Jackson.
Ian Bond and Robert Paxton, both from Devon, are into the quarter-finals, whilst Mervyn King defeated Stewart Anderson. David Gourlay is still in the competition.
