Vote for 2018 Bowls England Women Bowlers of the Year

Bowls England has today opened the voting to determine the 2018 Woman Bowler of the Year and Young Woman Bowler of the Year Award, sponsored by Taylor Bowls and Bowls International respectively.
In an exciting new format, a shortlist for each award has been compiled, with a public vote then taking place to crown the respective winners.
Bowls England Chief Executive Tony Allcock MBE said โ€œBowls England is delighted to announce that the Bowlers of the Year will be determined by a public vote for the first time.
โ€œWe are delighted that Taylor Bowls and Bowls International continue to sponsor these highly respected and prestigious awards and we thank them for their support.โ€
Sian Honnor, editor of Bowls International, said: “We thought it would be fitting moving forwardย for bowlers themselves to vote for who they believe to be the players of the year. It is important to recognise excellent achievement and the shortlisted players are those that stood out in a strong field.
“Congratulations to all those featured and I look forward to announcing the winners at theย Bowls England Womenโ€™s Annual Dinner and Presentation of Prizesย which is always a highlight of the bowling calendar and a chance to celebrate the season in style.”

Online voting for the Woman Bowler of the Year and Young Woman Bowler of the Year Awards runs until midnight on Sunday,ย November 11, with the winners announced at the Bowls England Womenโ€™s Annual Dinner and Presentation of Prizes at St Johns Hotel, Solihull on Saturday, November 24.
