John and Tom McGuinness win Family Pairs

Buckinghamshire’s Tom and John McGuinness have won the 2017 Bowls England National Family Pairs title, supported by the Friends of English Bowling.

The father and son combination defeated Leicestershire’s David and Michael Simpson 27-14 in Sunday’s Final.

In the Semi-Finals, the McGuinness duo defeated Lancashire’s Jack and David Lockhart 30-17, whilst the Simpson’s secured a 22-13 victory over Surrey’s Debbie and Charlie Souter.
