World Bowls CEO attends 2024 SportAccord Summit

World Bowls CEO Neil Dalrymple is this week attending and representing World Bowls at the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit taking place in Birmingham.

The event is focussed on engaging International Sports Federations, International Olympic Committee, organising committees, and other organisations involved in the development and business of sport.

Neil has had the opportunity to meet and discuss the future plans and opportunities for Bowls globally with many stakeholders from around the world including representatives of the Commonwealth Games Federation and learning more about how Bowls could become recognised by the IOC. Additionally, he has witnessed some world-class speakers from various sport federations and professional teams from around the globe who are using new technologies, fan engagement ideas and how we can improve the delivery of our events.

Neil explained: “During this summit, I have been fortunate to meet and to hear some excellent and insightful people and speakers working in the business of sport. There is so much innovation and progress being made in the industry and there are many opportunities for World Bowls to pursue to help us grow the brand and profile of Bowls and appeal to new audiences and participants.”
