Indiaโ€™s Ms Pinki awarded The Arjuna Award

Indian bowler Ms Pinki recently received The Arjuna Award, which is the highest annual award for a sportsperson in India who has exhibited leadership, sportsmanship, and discipline, coupled with expectational performances over the preceding four years.

Ravi Bengari, president of the Bowling Federation of India, said: โ€œIt gives me immense pleasure to share that our lawn bowler, Ms. Pinki was presented the Arjuna Award by H.E. President of India at an awards ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhawan, India. This was also our second consecutive Arjuna award in as many years.โ€

World Bowls CEO, Neil Dalrymple congratulated the Bowling Federation of India and Ms Pinki on this prestigious award.

“Ms Pinki is a wonderful representative of India in bowls and she has performed exceptionally well at major championships over the past 10 years with the highlight being her participation in Indiaโ€™s womenโ€™s fours gold medal victory at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.โ€
