Successive Champion of Champions Title for Bristol Bowlers

Bristol IBCs Gerry Coffield skipped his rink to the Warner Leisure Hotels Champion of Champions title for the second year running.

The Bristol four beat a rink skipped by Grantham’s Nick Orrey in the final, winning on the final bowl of the game after an edge off a front bowl, diverting the bowl to the shot and edging it away for the two shots needed for Bristol to win.
