England Senior Women’s 2014 Team Announced

Bowls England has named four new caps in the womenโ€™s senior international team that will defend the British Isles Series in Jersey on Sunday 15th to Tuesday 17th June 2014.

The new faces selected after the trials held in Royal Leamington Spa last weekend are Pa Walker (Leicestershire), Kirsty Hembrow (Somerset), Katherine Rednall (Suffolk) and Rebecca Wigfield (Northamptonshire).

Two of this seasonโ€™s successful team, Lynne Bowen (Worcestershire) and Jayne Christie (Cambridgeshire), had informed the selectors prior to the trials that they did not wish to be considered for selection in 2014.
