RESULTS | Australia, Ireland and Scotland Tri-Nations event

Teams from Australia, Ireland and Scotland played out a three-day tri-nations event at Royal Leamington Spaโ€™s Victoria Park greens in readiness for this summerโ€™s Commonwealth Games.

Australia, who have yet to select their side for the Games, fielded two sides boasting equal strength in the event to aid with selection for Birmingham 2022.

The Ireland side included Gary Kelly, who has made the trip over from Australia, while Scotland were without Alex Marshall MBE, who is currently bowling in the southern hemisphere. His position in the ten-strong mainstream side participating in the event was taken by two-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist, Derek Oliver.

The event also included play in a number of para events between representatives from Australia and Scotland.
