Alex Marshall MBE receives Team Scotland Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to Alex Marshall MBE, who last night was honoured by winning the Team Scotland Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tattie, who has been bowling for 43 years after his father and grandfather got him involved, has won five Commonwealth Games gold medals and one silver, making him Scotland’s most successful CWG athelete.

He said on the night: “Bowls has been my life and livelihood- all I wanted was to compete for Scotland.

“This trophy is very special to me, it just means so much and I will treasure it for the rest of my life.”
