Gallow IBC gets Clubmark status

THE Gallow Indoor Bowls Club at Fakenham in Norfolk is the latest bowls club to be awarded Clubmark status.

The club’s management structure, policies and practices have been accepted by the Clubmark assessors as meeting Sport England’s requirements for high quality sports management for young people.

The club was created by the Walsingham Rural District Council within the land complex at Fakenham Racecourse, although it is a separate entity, having purchaed the facilities in the late 1970’s.

This award is principally in relation to the junior section, which has currently about twenty young people actively training and competing around the county.
